We'd made finding disco entertainment easy for you. Now you need to think about the logistics of the evening! Ask your local DJ how much time he needs to set up his equipment; it varies from twenty minutes to two hours. This ould massively affect your time line. Don't forget, the time it takes him to set up will be similar to the time he needs at the end of the night to dismantle it all.
Ideally, you don't want your guests arriving to the sight of your DJ setting up. It's much nicer if he has background music playing as they all arrive so this will also have to be factored into your time line.
Always make sure your DJ is aware of everything such as if there is an awkward carry in (stairs and long narrow corridors), or any special moments you want him to facilitate (a birthday cake coming in to everyone singing happy birthday), or a surprise entrance of someone special. Our local DJs can do this and more... just ask them!
